How To Make Dalgona Coffee

As we all know, cooking has become so central to our shelter in place lives, and #dalgonacoffee has just blown up! After learning how to make it, I thought I'd challenge myself to making a little tutorial video.

The challenge I gave myself on this project was to pay special attention to the sound design. After recording and editing the video, I made a list of the sound effects I needed. For this process, I decided to go with foley style approach, which was super fun! I set up my #zoomh6 mic in the kitchen, and recorded everything one by one. Every time I play with sound design, it reaffirms how important audio is. It brings really brings the video to life and into a more professional realm, too.
